Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Science – minimum symbol E (40%)
  OR
• N2 Certificate with 4 relevant trade subjects listed below:

Boilermaker:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Plating & Structural Steel Drawing, Plater Trade Theory

Fitter:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitting & Machining Theory

Auto Electrician:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Motor Electrical or Electrical Trade Theory

Electrician:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory

Diesel Mechanic:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Diesel Trade Theory

Instrument Mechanician:
Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Instrument Trade Theory

• Must be willing to undergo psychometric testing
• Must be medically fit and able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
• Willing to work shifts, standby, and call-outs when needed
• Must not have a criminal record
• Proof of residence required – preference will be given to candidates from Khutala host communities

Advantageous

• Previous experience in the mining sector
• A valid K53 driver’s license
