What You Will Learn and Contribute: As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will be actively involved in industrialization activities aimed at ensuring production readiness. You’ll have the opportunity to work on continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality, cost, and safety targets. Your key responsibilities will provide you with hands-on experience in a variety of industrial engineering activities that will be valuable in your career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Time Studies: Conduct time studies in the workshops to define standard method and cycle times, helping to optimize operations.
- Line Balancing: Contribute to line balancing activities that enhance production efficiency and productivity.
- MBOM/PBOM Creation: Assist in the creation and validation of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM) and Product Bills of Materials (PBOM) to ensure smooth production processes.
- Develop Work Instructions & Facility Layouts: Create detailed work instructions, facility layouts, and process flows to standardize operations and improve workflow.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving quality, cost, and safety targets across operations.
- Safety Risk Assessments: Conduct safety risk assessments to ensure that production processes are safe and compliant with relevant standards.

Minimum Requirements:
- Completed S4 subjects in Industrial Engineering or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
- A Degree in Industrial Engineering would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of work-study, operations management, facilities, and material handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
- A team player with a strong sense of achievement and deadline orientation.
- Innovative with the ability to generate new ideas for process improvements.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
