The Pro-Star Milk Procurement learnership will provide hands-on experience in overseeing and optimizing the procurement of raw milk. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with dairy and legal standards, managing contracts and logistics, as well as financial processes. The position is designed for a graduate with a BSc in Animal Science.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Milk Procurement & Quality Assurance:
- Gain an understanding of the milk procurement process from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with dairy and legal standards.
- Ensure quality assurance of raw milk.
- Administration & Financial Management:
- Generate tax invoices.
- Manage budget forecasting for milk procurement.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Contract & Supplier Management:
- Manage contracts and procurement conditions for raw milk supply.
- Secure and maintain agreements with suppliers.
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Engage with internal and external milk producers.
- Onboard new farmers to expand milk supply.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Oversee logistics processes, including milk collection, routing, and route analysis.
- Gain experience in milk reception operations.
- Systems & Process Optimization:
- Optimize procurement systems and processes.
- Supply Planning:
- Implement supply planning strategies.
- Align procurement and supply chain operations.
